Ted "Theodore" Logan, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, 2005
This most triumphant costume from that excellent movie favorite, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, was assembled for Dragon*Con 2005. I had a stupid amount of fun wearing it-- it got a little lost in the chaos and fantastic costumes of D*C, but the people who saw me and recognized me got a kick out of it, and I had a terrific time. The only problem was that everybody who saw me immediately and naturally wanted to know where Bill was. My usual answer was that he was here a minute ago, which worked fine except for the guy who wanted to wait around until he got back so he could take a picture.
The hardest part of this was tracking down the Van Halen T-shirt. It proved to be a shirt from their 1986 "5150" tour, and it took me a couple of tries to get one in wearable condition.
